Boxwood Large Leaf and Pearl Wire Drop Earrings

Hand patina bronze with white fresh water pearls. Measures 2 1/4" long  with 1/2" drop.

Boxwood is an attractive evergreen that can reach heights of thirty or more feet. The slow growing dwarf variety is close clipped (a custom that began in Roman times) to make decorative edgings. The original model was made from cuttings taken at George Washington's Mount Vernon.
