Little Fox Saint and Foxfire Icon by Christina Miller

The fox is one of the main guardians and carved in relief at the entrance to the ancient city of Gobekli Tepe in southeast Turkey. The fox was the protector against rodents which brought disease and consumed their food supply.

In many mythologies the fox brings amazing luck, out of the blue and unbidden. Christina's little fox saint is set amidst a glowing field of foxfire, which in itself is magical and otherworldly to look upon. Glowing white flowers around his head creates a fanciful halo. He is a very sweet and gentle creature, who seems taken with the beauty of his world.
