Luke is the author of the third Gospel in the Bible. It is considered, by many, to be the most poetic. In it, he shines a light on the universality of Christ's message. He was St. Paul's personal physician. He was also thought to have painted portraits of the Madonna and Child. His emblem is the winged ox, though no one knows why.
"May all my patients benefit from my knowledge as I move with compassion and care in their treatment."
