Willow Bascom’s distinctive style has its roots in mola, a fabric art of the Kuna people of Panama, where Bascom spent time as a child. She also lived in Saudi Arabia, and further global travels added layered impressions of other indigenous artwork to her worldview, resulting in her multifaceted artistic expression.
