Elephant Mask Wall Hanging

African masks should be seen as part of a ceremonial costume, and animals are common subjects in African masks. Animal masks connect people with the spirit world that traditional African beliefs say inhabit the forests and open savannas. An animal is also a symbol of specific virtues. The elephant signifies strength, royalty, dignity, patience, wisdom, longevity, and happiness.

Measures 12" long x 16" wide.
