Stephanie Media Reversible Turquoise Necklace

Stephanie Medina learned to make jewelry from her grandparents, Joe and Eliza Chavez, and her mother, Rosalie Medina. Inlay is a popular style of jewelry design on Santo Domingo Pueblo, and Stephanie designs intricate pieces inspired by her family's rich history. She still creates thunderbird necklaces reminiscent of her grandmother's and uses the techniques her grandfather taught to string stone beads. Today, Stephanie's work utilizes a wide variety of stones and metals to create pieces unique to her that honor her family's legacy.

Turquoise, coral, mother of pearl, and sterling silver inlaid pendant set on turquoise nugget. Pendant is 1 3/4" long set on a 18" turquoise necklace with a 3" extender.
