The Suffragist Card

Between the Seneca Falls Convention in 1848 and the passage of the 19th Amendment in 1920, numerous regional and national suffrage publications disseminated women's messages that they were citizens and deserved equal treatment under the law. The Suffragist, a weekly newspaper, launched in 1913 to lead the charge for an amendment enfranchising women. This card celebrates that publication, with artwork by Meneese Wall.
