Cippy CrazyHorse

Cochiti Pueblo

Born Cipriano Quintana to renowned Cochiti jewelers Terecita and Joe H. Quintana, Cippy CrazyHorse has carried on the classic traditional Pueblo designs his parents started. He studied anthropology at Eastern New Mexico University, and served in the US Navy from 1969-1972 before returning to Cochiti. He took up jewelry full time after a severe workplace accident. Cippy brings his personal style to classic designs, using bold and deep stamp and chisel designs on thick gauge silver. He has won numerous awards to his signature style. His pieces showcase a simple beauty yet contemporary style and are worn by a devoted following of experienced collectors worldwide.
