Cordell Pajarito Earring

Tufa Cast ellipse post earrings with a petroglyph/pictograph inspired design. Tufa is a compressed volcanic ash material. When casting, the artist hand-carves a design into tufa stone – creating a negative space for molten metal to be poured. The use of tufa creates a beautiful, earthy pebble like texture on the silver.

Cordell Pajarito of Kewa Pueblo (Santo Domingo Pueblo), born in 1988, is the grandson of esteemed jeweler Mary Lovato and second-son of Anthony Lovato. Cordell has been inspired by his father, grandmother, and older brother Joel.

Earrings measure 1.5” by 0.75”.
