Four Directions Knot Tee Ginew + Kassie Kussman

"A narrative of interconnectedness, balance, unity and the perpetual cycle of life..." A special unisex t-shirt collaboration between Ginew and Cherokee artist and silversmith Kassie Kussman.

    Artist Statement:
"In my design I drew inspiration from southeastern tribal motifs. Specifically the interwoven, spiral four-direction symbol that was often found on pottery and other artifacts. Within its intricate pattern and harmonious curves lies a narrative of interconnectedness, balance, unity, and the perpetual cycle of life. Through my artwork and jewelry I try to bridge the gap between traditional and contemporary art. My goal is to honor the past, embrace the present, and explore what the future may hold." - Kassie Kussman - Cherokee
