Indonesian wayang kulit (shadow puppet) performance is one of the world's oldest and greatest storytelling traditions. This book introduces over 200 wayang charactersa complete set of contemporary wayang kulit ready to be lifted from the puppet box for a performance based on classical literature with current overtones, accompanied by a gamelan orchestra.
