Kassandra Marshall is a photographer and printmaker who has spent the last decade specializing in the 19th-century process, cyanotype. Her work is deeply tied to the Northern New Mexico landscape. She begins with walks through the mountains and mesas of her high desert home, collecting plant material to expose in her prints. Kassandra is drawn to the methodical, repetitive, and documentary nature of making cyanotypes. Each print is one of a kind—a nod to the uniqueness of the flora she preserves on paper and fabric.
One of a kind cyanotype on 100% silk. Hand wash only with a non-phosphate detergent. Dry iron to smooth.
